Therapy tends to be most helpful to people who view their appointments as an important and valuable component of their lives. Frequent cancellation stalls your progress and can impact the satisfaction you experience in reaching your goals. I set aside a full hour for my clients each week, and having gaps in my schedule with last-minute, non-emergency cancellations is a challenge and makes it difficult to fill your space unless I receive 48 hour advance notice.

Cost of Professional Services:

Fees are payable at the time of the scheduled session and are priced as following:

  • 75-minute intake session: $300.00

  • 60-min therapy session: $250.00

  • Missed appointment without 48-hour notice: Full fee of $250.00

  • Off site meetings/consultation (home visit, exposure work, or collaboration with physician/psychologist): Prorated rate of $245.00/hr.

  • Travel time prorated at $200.00/hr.

  • In-between session phone calls > 15 min: $200.00/prorated hour

  • Report writing: $250.00/prorated hour

  • Anything related to legal matters: $350.00/prorated hour

  • Record copying: $35.00

I accept payment by credit card, or if need be, special arrangements for payment by check can be made at time of your initial consultation.

 

I occasionally increase my fees. I will notify you at least two months in advance of any increase. If an increased fee is a problem for you, please let me know right away. Feel free to contact me by telephone between sessions if necessary, but please be aware that telephone consultations lasting longer than a brief conversation to reschedule or answer a question will be charged at the regular hourly fee in increments of 15 minutes. Other collateral services, including time spent writing reports and letters, will be similarly charged.

Insurance 

I am an out of network provider I do not accept insurance, however, most PPO insurance plans will cover a percentage of our services out-of-network. I will provide you with a statement that includes all the information needed to submit a claim to your insurance company. If you have any questions about how to obtain reimbursement, I will be happy to discuss them with you. I cannot guarantee that services will be covered by your insurance, or the percentage that will be reimbursed, as this varies from plan to plan. For information about reimbursement rates, contact your insurance provider.

Cancellations 

Please provide 48-hour notice via phone, text or email if you need to cancel a scheduled appointment to avoid being charged for the session (exceptions for emergencies will be discussed on a case-by-case basis).
